Jonathan Crossley

Jonathan Crossley is a guitarist, improviser and composer working across acoustic performance, electronics and collaborative improvisation. His practice combines extended guitar, live processing and open-form structures, developed through ongoing collaborations across jazz, experimental and contemporary music. Alongside his work as a recording and performing artist, he is a practice-based researcher at the University of Liverpool. His research grows directly from his creative practice, exploring technologically mediated improvisation, intersubjectivity, culture and technology.
